Personality: Lake is a generally happy person to strangers although her mother keeps her happiness at bay. She is a determined person with a love for horses. She loves to ride and wants to learn to ride Capall Uisce more than anything. She is very kind and willing to help although she can be easily aggravated, even despite that she loves kids. The people who know her best know that she is not afraid to get down and dirty. When she is sad or worried she has a habit of biting her bottom lip. She does have slight trust issues, due to her father, but once you gain her trust she will do anything for you and do her best to protect you. She has a soft spot for her horse Maddox. She is strong and generally patient with a high pain tolerance. To see her cry is to see her truly hurt, as she cries in front of people scarcely, afraid to look weak. Although she finds that people can frustrate her easily, she is never lets a horse get the best of her. You can always tell how she's feeling by looking in her eyes, and when she is angry they turn slightly more green. She is afraid to show people how she really feels about things because she is afraid that no one will understand.
Appearance: Lake has wavy long blond hair that is closer to curls at the bottom. It almost reaches down to the small of her back. She usually has it tied back in a high pony tail although the way it is cut she seems to always have whisk of hair falling out of it around her face. She lean with long legs. Her eyes grey with the slightest hint of green. She has a smile worth a million bucks and a serious but lovely face.
Distinguishing Characteristics: She is very talented at riding and loves to jump Maddox. She hates loosing things, whether it be people or material. She loves being on the beach and loves a good storm. She loves the rain, particularly because of the noise.

Job: She does whatever she can whenever she can. Although she does small jobs she would rather have a job that involved horses and is always searching for one.
History: When she was little her childhood was wonderful. Her father helped her fall in love with horses. When she was six he taught her how to ride, and later taught her to jump. Although she loved her mother the same, she and her father had a special relationship and did everything together. Lake was like his shadow in every way and wanted to be just like him. When she was 12 he bought her her very own horse. A little grey warmblood foal. He taught her to care for it and to love him. From the moment she saw the foal she fell in love with him and the two were inseparable. Although she wanted to learn to ride her fathers capall, Ace, he always told her 'someday, when your older and stronger'. Although, she would never get that chance. She would never forget those years. Although her parents were older she hadn't realized how old until her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Eventually her mother could not even recognize her father and much less Lake. Lake watched her father go day by day slowly loosing interest in his horses and in her mother. She tried to ignore it and go about like things were normal, she hated this change so much. The only compensation she found was in riding Maddox. One breezy morning Lake woke up to feed the horses. When she went searching for her father, but he was gone. She wasn't sure how to feel or what to think.. she only knew he was gone. From that day on she never saw him again. Although they were partially taken care of, because of one of Lake's fathers good friends, she still needed to do small jobs to make some extra money to support her mother and to feed Maddox. Lake thought she would never trust anyone again like she trusted her father. However she locked those feelings down whenever she was around other people, not wanting to seem weak. Now she acts very indifferent about the issue and only gets emotional when she is alone with Maddox. Even though it is a lot sometimes when her mother doesn't remember her, she pulls through and stays strong, even though it sometimes gets the best of her in the end. Things are getting better though. At least better than they have been in the past.
Other: Wants to learn how to ride a capall uisce, she adores the color deep blue. She wears a blue and yellow bracelet that her father made her, she never takes it off. She likes to think that her father will one day return.

Apperence and color: Maddox is a white/grey 16.3 hand warmblood/thoroughbred stallion. He has a stocky build but has good conformation. He is all white accept for barley noticeable grey dapple markings on his knees and a tad bit on his rump. Oddly he has blue eyes. They make a beautiful contrast against his white coat and often take people by surprise.
distinguishing characteristics: He is a kind and gentle horse with a subtle personality. he is very personable towards Lake and has his trust in her. He is a cookie monster and loves to eat, and it doesn't help when Lake spoils him with treats when she can.
personality: He is gentle accept for his head. occasionally he will suddenly pull his head to look at something and nearly pull lake over him, of course she gets him in line. However, he doesn't do it on purpose. He wants to please and always puts fourth his all for Lake, even when he has nothing left to put out. He seems to love it when Lake rides him beside the ocean.
Other: He has been by Lake's side ever sense he was bought as a colt.
