1. God-modding and Meta-gaming will earn warnings... Its not fair to other RPers when you do these things.
2. Chat-speak in both posts and the actual chat box is not accepted. On a note about posts, all posts may have varying lengths, but the standard minimum is 3 sentences. I understand that there may be some occurrences when this might not apply, though.
3. Your application needs to be moved to the approved section before you may RP. Characters may have regular horses or Capall Uisce, however the Scorpio Races are designed mainly for the Capall. That doesn't mean that an island horse couldn't win.
4. Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus. Please don't make them. Characters need to have some imperfections...
5. While the main idea of the Scorpio Races is fantasy, it is not full-blown magic fantasy. Yes, the Capall Uisce have magic, but the humans don't. And just because humans don't, that doesn't means that elves/dwarves/ect. can be created with it. The only magic the Capall have is the draw to the sea, which allows them to materialize into water, and to drag their riders with them when the pull is strong enough. This is only so because the magic 'sings' to the riders.
6. At this time, cannons will not be accepted, so please keep away from them and keep it original!
Its always more fun that way anywho!
7. Do not argue with admins or moderators. They are here to keep things fair and regulated.
8. Please stay active as much as ya can!
9. We are role-playing people here, with the control of their own horse/Capall not wild horses, or RPing AS a horse. Sorry... Its just straying a bit from what we'd like to keep it geared toward.
10. You do not have to have a ton of experience to RP here, we just ask that you TRY. We're all willing to help if there's any rough stops!
11. You also need not have read the books, though it would be a help. And don't worry; we will take the time to help if you haven't! Its no problem!
